Vacation Work Placements
Our vacation work placements are available to university students currently completing their third year and looking for a placement prior to commencing their final year of study. Students are given the opportunity to experience the work environment of a busy multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm. Under supervision, you will be given real work tasks and receive payment during your time with us. You will be allocated to a team leader or senior engineer, depending on your area of interest and the availability of project work.
Vacation work normally takes place over the university summer vacation period (November to March). If you are interested in a vacation work placement at Tonkin Consulting, please email and attach an electronic file of your Expression of Interest letter in which you outline your area(s) of interest and what attracts you to Tonkin Consulting. Please also attach your Resume and Academic Transcript.
