Work Experience
Tonkin Consulting has developed a program for students at high school level, which gives a real taste of what it’s like to be an engineer. We offer up to five days unpaid work experience that can help you make a decision about your career and your future. You will see the wide range of career choices in engineering and environmental science. Our program ensures that you move through all areas of the business, including fieldwork and real project work experience.
If you are interested in our work experience program, please complete the application form and attach an electronic file of your application letter in which you explain what attracts you to an engineering or environmental science career. We would also like to hear what you hope to find out or gain from your time with us.
We provide up to five placements for work experience each year and these are highly sought after and limited. To maximise your opportunity of a placement, you will need to submit your application by February each year. Our next intake begins in 2008.
